The national modelling seminar 2025 brings together researchers, experts, and practitioners working with hydrological and water resource models. The aim is to share research, practical experiences, and new ideas to support better use of models in water and environmental management.
Modelling within source-to-sea concept; Research – Needs – Business
This year’s seminar highlights ecosystem-based modelling, nutrient and carbon flows from land to sea, and new applications of Digital Twins, artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning (ML) in hydrology and water systems. The program also includes sessions on land use impacts, climate resilience, and source-to-sea approaches.
Participants are invited to present research, case studies, and modelling tools through short talks and poster pitches. The seminar offers a valuable opportunity to connect with others, learn from ongoing projects, and be part of a national network aiming to strengthen the role of modelling in decision-making.
